What is the maximum number of people that can stay in a Lou Pignada accommodation?

Each accommodation at Lou Pignada has different capacities. To be sure that the accommodation you choose corresponds to your wishes and needs, you will find the maximum number of people allowed for each accommodation on its detailed sheet.

Is it possible to add a tent on the rental pitch? 

We have included a specific package if you wish to pitch a tent next to your mobile home. So at the 5 star campsite Lou Pignada, you are free to add a tent on the pitch of your rental (within the limit of the number of occupants allowed for the rental).

What is the equipment of my mobile home?

To be sure of the equipment of the mobile home you have selected for your next holiday in our campsite Lou Pignada, do not hesitate to consult the detailed inventory of each of our rentals. 

Do I have to bring my own sheets for a rental?

At the Lou Pignada campsite in Messanges in the Landes, we offer you a holiday without constraints. We have therefore created accommodation kits for you, for flawless comfort and reduced logistics. A service that allows you to choose the options that suit you, from renting sheets, towels and even baby equipment. 

Is WiFi available on all pitches and in all rentals?

WiFi access is available on the entire Lou Pignada campsite. Depending on your booking, this service can be included in your reservation. For any stay booked through our website: www.loupignada.com or through our central booking office: www.resasol.com, a free WiFi connection is offered!

How is the inventory established on arrival? 

Our 5 star campsite Lou Pignada is proud to have obtained the Eco-Label certification. So, to find the inventory of your mobile home, you just have to download the RESASOL application (on Android phone/tablet or Apple phone/tablet). The details of your rental equipment appear in the "PRACTICAL INFORMATION" section, then on the "INVENTORY" page. No more waste of paper or time. You can enjoy a real holiday from day one!

Do I have to clean up before my departure? 

At the end of your stay with us, we ask you to leave your holiday home clean. You can either do this yourself. Or for those who want to relax until the last second, you can find all our cleaning packages. Something for all those who love to relax! 

Do you store caravan? 

It is quite possible to take advantage of a wintering place, right next to the Lou Pignada campsite. Many solutions are available to you with Caravane Landes, only 400 metres from the campsite: pitches, open shelters, closed shelters... Rent the ideal pitch at a low price to park your caravan, motorhome, car or boat: sheltered and adapted to the size of your vehicle to protect it from the sun as well as from bad weather. And for even more comfort, your caravan can be set up directly on your campsite, ready for your arrival in the Landes! The Caravane Landes team takes care of everything, transporting your real little mobile home from its wintering place... to the 5-star campsite that is preparing to welcome you.

Is there a children's club at camping Lou Pignada?

Camping Lou Pignada has a children's club and a teenagers' club and organises activities adapted to the youngest. For more information, please see the details of our activities.

What is the entertainment programme at camping Lou Pignada?

The entertainment offered by our campsite Lou Pignada is adjusted according to the season. You can find the organised activities at the campsite reception or, for even more freedom, directly on our website. 

What is the aquatic area of camping Lou Pignada like?

The La Riviera water park at the Lou Pignada campsite has 4 temperate pools, 3 slides, 2 paddling pools, a rooftop solarium and a Spa.

How to access the water park at camping Lou Pignada?

Only residents of Lou Pignada campsite are allowed to access the La Riviera water park. Your wristband received at the reception when you arrive at the campsite will allow you to access the water park.

Are swimming shorts allowed in the water park?

Our water park is a unique place to bring young and old together. So to make it easier to go down our slides, swim in our temperate waters and relax in our whirlpools, come and have fun in a swimming costume. Boxer shorts and swimming trunks are allowed. 

Is the water park supervised?

For everyone's safety, our water park is supervised by our team of lifeguards, who have a state diploma. A safe area for swimming in complete peace of mind!

Which is the nearest beach?

At the Lou Pignada campsite, we have the privilege of enjoying an incredible location. You will be in the heart of the Landes forest and only 2.5 km from the south beach of Messanges. The supervised beaches of Vieux-Boucau are only 2 km south of our campsite. And for wave lovers, the famous surf spots of Hossegor are only 15 km away from our campsite Lou Pignada.  

Is there a shuttle bus from the campsite to the beach?

At the Lou Pignada campsite, we have set up free shuttles to the beach at Messanges Nord during July and August. The shuttles leave from the campsite reception every 20 minutes from 11am to 1pm, every day from the 1st of July, except on Saturdays. Return trips are every 20 minutes from 3.30 pm to 7 pm.
Please note: you must wear a wristband to use the shuttle. Please note that this service does not operate on rainy days.

Is there a shopping area near the campsite?

At the Lou Pignada campsite, we have thought of everything to simplify your life during your holiday! For example, there is a mini-market with a bread and pastry shop on our 5-star campsite. And to top it all off, we've worked out a system for delivering your shopping directly to your pitch!

Is there a restaurant on the campsite?

You can enjoy our restaurant located in the heart of our campsite Lou Pignada. Brasserie, grill, pizzeria, salads, there is something for everyone! 

Do you have any activities to discover in the vicinity of the campsite?

At the 5-star Lou Pignada campsite, we are keen to help our guests discover our magnificent Landes region. Our RESASOL agency will be able to advise you better than anyone else and book the best activities for you to immerse yourself in the Landes way of life, to immerse yourself in the traditions and favourite activities of the locals. And if you like to explore, we also suggest that you venture into the Basque Country, only 1 hour away from Lou Pignada and Spain right next door.

Are there any sports fields? Fitness room?

Our 5 star Lou Pignada campsite allows all sportsmen and women to continue to practice their passions, even on holiday! There are two petanque courts, a city stadium, a beach volleyball court, beach soccer, table tennis and even a tennis court. And for WOD enthusiasts, a weight room is available at our Lou Pignada campsite. So there's no end to the fun!

Do you rent sports equipment?

To make your holiday easier, we rent tennis and table tennis rackets directly at the reception of our campsite Lou Pignada. 

Do you rent bicycles on site? What are the rates?

You can rent your bikes directly on site to get around without any hassle on the summer paths in the Landes. Our bike hire company is open 7 days a week, from April to September. You can find information on the opening hours, prices and how to book activities directly on our website.

What are the free and open access facilities on site? 

Our 5 star campsite Lou Pignada offers a whole range of leisure activities! You can take advantage of our sports activities on our multi-sports fields, our children's and teenagers' clubs, our playground, our concerts, shows, cabarets and themed evenings, our mini-farm, free shuttles to the beach and of course our water park with a doubled volume, its 700 m2 of heated water, its balneo pool, its river with buoys, its 200 m2 rooftop solarium. And for even more fun, we also offer a whole range of additional options: restaurant and bar, half board, full board, a Spa and wellness area, laundry, tennis court, bike hire... 

How do I get to the campsite by car?

Our campsite Lou Pignada advocates calm, nature and safety for all thanks to our zero car concept. An outdoor car park, reserved for the travellers of our campsite Lou Pignada, is therefore available for the parking of your vehicle. This car park is in the immediate vicinity of our campsite and is fully secured by a barrier system with number plate recognition. A pedestrian bridge links the car park to the interior of our campsite.

How do I get around the campsite without a car? 

You are allowed to access your rental by car to unload and load your luggage on the day of your arrival and departure. Once you have settled in and parked your vehicle in the large, secure, shaded car park at the entrance to our Lou Pignada campsite, all the facilities are accessible on foot or by bike. To offer you optimal comfort, you will find all the essential services for your holidays within our Lou Pignada campsite: restaurant, mini-market, shops, spa, bakery. And to vary the pleasures, the cycle tracks at the foot of our campsite join the communes of Vieux Boucau and Messanges in a pedal stroke! 

What are the closing times for the pedestrian bridge at the entrance to the campsite? 

To respect the rest of all travellers, the pedestrian bridge between the secure car park and the entrance to our campsite Lou Pignada closes at 10pm in the evening and reopens at 6am the next morning.

Is it possible to drop off the car in the car park before check-in?

As arrivals are only possible from 4pm onwards, it will not be possible to park your car in the car park until after 4pm.

Is there a charging point for my electric car at Camping Lou Pignada?

With more and more travellers using electric vehicles, our campsite Lou Pignada has set up two charging points for the batteries of your electric cars, right next to the Reception. A 5 star and green service!

How do I get to the campsite from the airport and the train station?

It is possible to reach our campsite Lou Pignada from: Biarritz airport is about 60 km away, Pau airport is about 100 km away or Bordeaux airport is about 150 km away. 

If you wish to arrive by train, the nearest station is Dax at 35 km. Bayonne and Biarritz stations are 43 km and 54 km away respectively.

Are there any transport services on site? 

You will find all the amenities directly on site. However, if you wish to travel around our campsite Lou Pignada, several options are available. Take the YEGO bus network to explore the beaches and the Landes coast. If you want to discover the land a little more, the RDTL bus network is available to you. And if you prefer to use a taxi, you can find a wide choice of companies in Vieux Boucau and its surroundings. 

What are the check-in and check-out times?

In order to welcome you in the best conditions, arrivals are possible from 4pm. On the last day, you will have until 10am to return the keys to your accommodation or to leave your pitch. 

What do I have to present on arrival / how do I check in?

When you arrive, please go to the Reception. Our team will welcome you and tell you what type of accommodation you have booked and explain the organisation and activities of our campsite Lou Pignada. You will also be asked to give your name, surname, date of birth and number plate so that we can complete your booking file with the information of each traveller.

What to do in case of late arrival?

For all those who have a long journey or who think they will arrive late on the first day, no need to worry! In July and August, our Reception is open until 8.30pm in the evening. After that, our night team will be there to show you to your pitch or give you the keys to your accommodation. In the low season, from April to June and in September, our Reception is open until 6.30pm. Just call the number on the front door of the reception to find out how to collect your keys. In any case, a visit to the Reception the next morning will allow you to finalise your file.

What is a tourist tax?

The municipalities with a tourist vocation may ask you to pay a tax during your holidays on their territory. The tourist tax is due per person and per night. The amount is set by the local council and varies according to the type and classification of the accommodation.

This tax enables local authorities to develop tourist attractions in their municipalities.
