But the most pleasant is probably to find yourself at the spot of your dreams.
But do you know how surf began on the Atlantic coast? The origin of surfing in France dates back to the 1950s, when Peter Viertel, writer and American writer, directed the film "Le soleil s'évève aussi" in Biarritz.
Impressed by the waves of the Basque Coast, he asked to be delivered a surfboard directly from California between two reels of film... that's how the first board arrived in Biarritz! Subsequently, surfing is emulated and pioneers like Joel de Rosnay, Jo Moraiz, Michel Barland and Georges Hennebutte democratize the surf practice in France.
